Christmas Tags

Silly chihuahua tagged me:

The Rules:
The player of this game starts with "3 things he/ she would love to get for Christmas" and also has to list "3 things he/ she definitely does not want to get for Christmas". Then he/she tags 5 friends and list their names. The ones who get tagged need to write on their blogs about their Christmas wishes, as well as state this rule clearly, then tag 5 more victims. And the one who tags need to leave a comment that says "you've been Christmas tagged!" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

Ok, so I'm going to give you my lists, but I'm going to make the tag optional. All you KOLerscan decide if you want to participate.

Three Things I Want For Christmas:
1. Tall black boots
2. A cankle-ectomy so those boots will zip up past my cankles. Le Sigh.
3. The ability to warp the space-time continuum so that I can finish my Christmas knitting.

Three Things I Definitely Do Not Want For Christmas
1. Acrylic yarn
2. Tendonitis (although, at this rate, I'll probably get it anyway)
3. The Norwalk/Noro virus (three of my coworkers have had it)

Alrighty then. That's it. Merry Christmas to all.

  1. I wouldn't mind a little hit of Norovirus about now. Year end is killing me.

  2. Norovirus: (noun) An illness affecting fibre whores. The patient has an inexplicable addiction to less than quality, but undeniably gorgeously coloured yarn.

I have had this for ages. It's frikkin' chronic.

That is SO funny Lynne! I was listening to the radio the other day, and they kept referring to "norovirus". All I could think of was yarn addiction.

    I want:
    1. a phd with my name on it (not happening anytime soon)
    2. a winning lottery ticket so I can pursue hobby/philanthropic pursuits
    3. my husband's job to become less stressful and more enjoyable ( nicely gift-wrapped tenure would do in a pinch)

    I do not want:
    1. Acrylic yarn.
    2. Cold sore(s), like every other year.
    3. Anyone to get sick.

    Oooh I like this one.

I wish I could post it but Casey doesn't like getting me things that I ask for specifically... no thrill of the hunt or something.

Good luck with the knitting! May your needles be swift!
