Earlier this week, Henry was bemoaning the fact that I "never take him anywhere". He's been moping about the house, standing in front of the refrigerator with the door open, scratching his name into the furniture, and watching far too many daytime dramas.
When Mrs. Extremities asked if I might like a break, I happily agreed. He's gone off to the Valley with her for a couple of days. I'll admit to being a little teary when they left, but I think the fresh country air could do him some good.
I warned Mrs. E that, no matter how many times he asks, she should NOT let him drive.
