Another Successful Shopping Excursion

Tonight, JAK and I went to the mall to shop in general and to look for a bathing suit for me specifically.

JAK and I have a history of acting like idiots in Winners. Tonight was no exception. After forcing JAK to choose a statue for her garden from among several hideous "sculptures" (She didn't her buy it, I just asked, "If you had to buy one, which one would you get?" - she went for some sort of Indian goddess or something - I chose an absurdly huge bunny), we wandered through the store.

We were trying on hats when we discovered that my freakishly large head had struck again! The hats wouldn't fit! JAK suggested I try something innovative with a rather large, ruffled wrap - it looked like a bad, 1980s swag for a bedroom window treatment. Here's JAK's interpretation:

Then I found a couple of bathing suits and decided that, although I liked them, it didn't seem worth it to go to the fitting room to try on just two. Hence:

Shopping at Winners

(and now I've decided that I kind of like this bathing suit - so I may have to go back to actually try it on in the right size.)

I feel like we should blur out our faces.

Now, what am I going to do about a bathing suit for my vacation? Sigh.

I really like that suit. Awesome colour. I think low riding bottoms look better(seriously, instead of cutting it off at your actual waist, I find the hipsters much more flattering. My $0.02).

Seriously, I think you would look really cute in it.

I can't imagine what the other shoppers thought when you started taking pictures.

  2. Very flattering!

I'm glad you didn't just "drop trou" in the store, though in this city, no one would have blinked.

The suit is sort of cute except I don’t like the gold embellishment. Have you tried Brio 5411 Spring Garden Rd they have swimwear for every body... Maritime Campus Store on Quinpool Rd. http://www.maritimecampus.com/
