If you get a cat ball with a bell in it (the solid with the cut out shapes, not the "meshy" plastic which is not as sturdy) you can bury it in the stuffing and it makes a cute rattly toy for a baby. A balled sheet of thick, crinkly cellophane (the plasticy-paper hybrid stuff) also makes a noise that babies like inside a stuffed toy.
