Tangled Skeins

Ok, Knitters in Halifax and Dartmouth &c - today is day 2 of the anniversary sale at Tangled Skeins.
Here's the deal: 25% off everything in the store that isn't already discounted. (And there are some nice discounts on other things)
Briggs and Little is $2.00/ skein. Hello! $2.00 / skein!!!!!!
She's got some beautiful Bamboo and Soy Silk yarn that is just screaming summer shawl!
I went in yesterday and topped up on some Rowan 4-ply to finish my lace camisole from Vintage Knits... and some Cascade 220 for another Sophie (not for me, for the slapstick hairstylist). Then today it was Rowan Kidsilk Haze and some *cough* *cough* Bamboo *cough* *cough*.
Slow and steady wins the race, people. Slow and steady.

    Steph;

    Missed you today at Tangles Skeins. You were there in the morning and I/we didn't get there until the afternoon.

    What a great store!

    She has just about all the brands of yarn that I have only read about on the Internet. Quite a change from my usual shopping place - Value Village.
    And her knitting needles are to drool over!

    I must go back - didn't get a chance to look at many of her patterns. My friend found exactly what she was looking for however.

    You - and the Tangled Skeins store - have broadened my horizons.

    Happy knitting!
    Janey

    What a coincidence! I happened across your blog today AND I've been thinking about going to Tangled Skeins this week (never been there, I just moved back to Halifax recently) AND there's a sale?!?! Must be fate that I need to buy Rowan 4-ply for a vintage knits project.

    As an aside, it is great to hear that there is a Halifax knitting community out there...
