I should be packing...

I leave for Montreal in, let's see... 16 hours.

I need to finish packing and make some stitch markers for the shop before I go.

...and what am I doing with my time? Sitting on the couch with the computer on my lap.

Trouble comes to the Knitting Out Loud group in threes:
1.The Ninja sprained her ankle last week.

2. I'm still having fun with the tendons - I went to physio last night. I felt like such a nerd (Amber's word) going to the Sportsplex physio clinic (it's the closest to my house) for a knitting injury. The physiotherapist asked me what brought on the pain and I had to explain Fair Isle knitting. I'm just really glad that he didn't laugh out loud. He kept it inside, I'm sure... I could see his eyes dancing. He told me that he was really glad I had come in b/c this is the kind of thing that can get much worse and lead to Carpal Tunnel (the kiss of knitting death) if not treated properly. Even though he explained how serious it was, I still thought he was going to have to scrape my jaw off the floor when he told me that he wants me to come back for 3 more appointments!*

3. Moe had her own dramatic accident today. You can see a pictorial representation of it on her blog. She fell down and then OFF the stairs to her loft! Moe, we're all glad that you didn't break anything and that you'll hopefully still be able to knit! She's going to be one very sore lady in the next few days and perhaps for the next week. Moe? The next time you audition for a role as an action hero, please remember to have your crew put the cardboard boxes in place first!

Ok, going to pack now.

*This is a cautionary tale for all you knitters out there who experience pain while knitting. Get thee to a physician or a physiotherapist!

I feel pretty ok today. I'll really know tomorrow, but for now I just feel a little stiff. And I can still knit.

I'm ready for my stunt-girl SAG card now. Ironically, one of my 2nd cousins is a motor-cross racer, and was scouted at a race. She was one of the stunt drivers in "Rollerball" (I didn't see it though).

  2. OOOH! I want a Moe action figure!

You ladies are going to make the gents who own stock in analgesics (spelling pls Steph) very very rich fellas. Well, more rich I suppose.

    Have a safe trip!
