That's a big deep sigh, not a scream of panic. I just woke up from a two hour nap!
We're here. We arrived on around 2:30pm on Sunday. As soon as the care was unpacked, there was some serious swimming going on here. At about 3:30pm, I was standing on the float, hollering to shore:
"I'm soooooooooo glad I don't have to work tomorrow!!!!!!"
About 10 minutes later, I received the first of two horsefly bites. Darn it. My left foot is pouffy and red. I've got Benadryl, claritin, advil and permission to loaf around.
Got the third bite this morning on my hour-long walk with my SIL. The flies are out to get me this year, but they will not stifle my vacation spirit. I will nap these bites out of my system! Tee hee.
Pippin is here (please see posts from March ? for who Pippin is) and he's having a blast. He found three other dogs to hang out with yesterday and they "told" him how to swim more efficiently.
The kids are definitely bigger than the toys this year, but they're all out there playing with them. As predicted, they were knee deep in toys while wearing their pajamas this morning. They're so cute.
I went into Oromocto with my FIL this afternoon. We bought groceries and shrubs. I said that my MIL is not going to send me to town with my FIL again, b/c I spent their $$.
I'm working on Cari's Travelling Vines Scarf (dogs steal yarn) and I've encountered a problem around row 8 or 9. I'll have to take out the rows to be sure. Cari- if you're out there, is there anything wonky with the pattern around that row?
Thanks for the comments everyone.
My SIL wants me to go pick blueberries with her!
