Photographic Evidence

done.
done.
done!
Moe was kind enough to bring her camera to "Knitting Out Loud" last night and took these photos for me.

Travelling Vines wrap

If this whole PhD thing of hers doesn't work out, I think she should consider a career in knitwear photography.

Travelling Vines wrap closeup

(Backdrop kindly provided by Frozen Extremities who attended our gathering for the first time. L - I think I know where we've seen each other before - Did you go to Dal? 'cause if not, you look like someone who was in Biology around the same time I was.)

Morg - we all missed you last night. Hope you made it home safely!

Jodi, you were right... 31 repeats b/c I'm 31.

(Brenda in London - Jodi asked me to give you her email address as she visits your town all the time but since I don't have yours... feel free to contact Jodi on her blog. She visits your 'hood often and if you're interested in a knit-gathering, well she won't be mortified if you say something crass in the first 10 minutes of meeting...*mumble mumble, ethiopian food, mumble mumble, burning ring of fire*)

Angie, I know what you're thinking. And yes, it is long, isn't it? I seriously need a dye job before the holidays. My Sparkles(tm) are showing.

A big shout out to all those who are dropping by as a result of Bonne Marie's link. Welcome! Excuse me while I my OCD shows and I try to clean up the house while you're visiting. I'm just so honoured and shocked that she posted the link. I can't think of one witty or funny thing to say to convince you to drop by more often. Next time, I'll just lure you in with the kick-arse brownies, k?

I don't know what the heck was going on in the first picture with those lines. I must have twitched or my batteries are low (I hope. The alternative is that the camera is crapping out on me).

It's too bad I had to use the flash, the colours are darker and richer in person.

Beautiful work. She's going to love it.

  2. I don't know what you're talking about. Lines? Crazy talk.

I see some speckles on the bottom left of the photo, but I thought it was just faery dust (or my dirty computer screen).

Oh, and I want to offer my services as a chauffeur for knit nights to any gal in Dartmouth who may require it!

BTW, Steph, I don't know why you wanted me to cut off your bum in the picture. IMO your bum is totally cute.

For some reason, Jodi's blog won't come up. I'll try again tomorrow - maybe it will work then. But tell Jodi, that I work two days per week - usually Mondays and Saturdays in the LYS - London Yarns, on Hyde Park Road.
