Captions for Henry

Henry, wearing yarn again

At KOL on Tuesday night, Henry "tried on" Val's yarn. She was in the washroom and came out to find me taking his picture. We were both a little embarrassed (Henry and I, not Val.)

Leave a caption for this photo in the comments and I'll do a random draw for yarn from my stash. I haven't chosen the yarn yet - I decided to do this draw about three minutes ago. But I'll let you know as soon as I figure out what I can part with.

  5. After a few wobbly pops, Henry decided to go for a spin on the yarn winder.

I don't need the yarn in fact I’m in the process of doing a de-stash so… if I were to win give the yarn to your Grammy.

  8. I had to delete my original caption ... using the wrong greek deity would have made me twitchy all night (original was "Hercules was a wimp ... look, ma no hands!" . The deity I am picturing is Atlas, not Hercules)

Is it ok to ammend my caption to be correct? "Atlas was a wimp ... look, ma no hands!"

  12. Okay, that last one was actually House Man's (I'll take the yarn if he wins it!).

Personally, I think Henry looks more like Art Garfunkel, from the 70's, when his hair was rather, um, large. So, I think the caption should be more along the lines of:

    "Bright eyes, burning like fire..."

Who would have known that when a yarn monster licks a ball of yarn his tongue gets felted to the ball? Henry never should have taken Steph up on her double dog dare.

Henery: A Brilliant new way to store my yarn, you see as I knit I will lose weight and I need not find a place to hide my new stash of yarn!! Functional and classy!
