Stories to Tell... Yarn to Knit...

Phew - where did the week go?

I went to Moncton this week for a conference and now it's Friday again.

I've got a great story for you of intrigue and revenge, but that's going to have to wait until I have pictures. Let's just say that it took almost 10 years and an intricate plot for someone to get back at me for something that occurred in a parking lot one warm spring day. If you haven't already seen "Down With Love", I recommend it as a prerequisite for hearing about this evil plot and its execution.

I've got a sweater to knit before it's too darned warm to wear it - which may be soon. I cast on for Imogen by Handmaiden and despite a minor sleeve set-back and ignorance of my, uh, measurements, all is well is sweater land.

In this picture,

Imagine Imogen

...you can see that I'm knitting a sleeve in the round, while the other, puny sleeve, awaits its fate.

More on everything later.

Have a great weekend.

  1. I am intrigued by the story of revenge... I have not seen Down With Love, maybe I'll try to rent it.

What exactly was the problem with your sleeves? I'd like to know before I get too far with mine.

It's Saturday, and the latest I could make myself "sleep in" was 6:35am, a whole 5 minutes later than usual. I think I am getting old.

  2. I covet the Imogen cardigan. I am so jealous that you're knitting it.
