This is not good.
Henry is a father! Henry can't be a father! He can barely get himself out of bed in the morning. He can't cook, he doesn't know anything about diapers...
He's not parent material. He's barely material at all, he's knitted WOOL ferheaven'ssake!
Where did I go wrong?
Oh Steph, I don't think either of us went "wrong" anywhere...you just do the best you can and hope what you say sticks. This...didn't. For either of us. But hey, they gotta learn from their mistakes right? It's all in how they'll deal with it...
ReplyDeleteTime for that boy to get a job.
ReplyDeleteI blame television, the internet, and a working mother.
ReplyDelete;)
Maybe you should have knit him out of acrylic. It would have been built in "protection".
ReplyDelete3 words... video surveillance cameras
ReplyDeleteAt least it looks like Rose is going to be a good mother, wearing her baby in a sling, using cloth diapers, and nursing! Hmmm, wonder if she's going to vax that baby? (Lesley and I also hang out at MDC, which is pretty much THE place for crunchy AP types on the web--vaccinations are a very touchy issue over there!)
ReplyDeleteWhat does Mauve have to say about all this?
ReplyDeleteI was about to say, Mauve must be in a real tizz!
ReplyDeleteI'm more than happy to babysit, if need be.
Hey big little cuz
ReplyDeleteIf Henry turns deadbeat, I'm always willing to adopt once the little guy gets a little older. We'll give him a good home out here in Alberta.
