Mr. Happy and his band - The Heavy Blinkers - are heading to New York this week for a show at Joe's Pub. Friend and fellow Haligonian, Jenn Grant will be playing as well.

They were invited by Upper North Side, which is a program for promoting Canada in New York. It's a division of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
Anyhooooooo... it should be a fun evening of happy pop music - so if you're in the neighbourhood (um, I'm not sure if anyone reads my site in NYC), tell them Steph sent you!
Do they have a song in an ad playing now? I can't even remember the subject of the ad, just that it had something to do with summer.
