Quote of the Week

Overheard in the Happy household:

Mrs. Happy: "...I think Henry would really enjoy going to England with you. You could hold him up on stage and take his photo with the crowd in the background..."

Mr. Happy: "I think we need a dog."

Henry is sulking now and refuses to be photographed. Knitting content imminent.

I have to agree with Mr. Happy.

I mean, Henry is into the extreme sports and such, but when is the last time he snorgled you?

  2. Maybe all the Henry/Ms. Happy snorgling photos have been kept private.

Yes, get a dog! I'd love to, but Jimmy the Cat would have issues.

  3. Poor Henry...I feel for the little guy. Give him a hug for me and let him know that his public still loves him ;).
Although...the adventures of Henry with a dog could be highly entertaining!

  4. Snorgling? I must be getting old, I have no idea what snorgling is...

Judging by his past exploits, Henry is after more than an innocent snorgle.

Tell Henry to chin up, and give him a little squeeze from me :)

  7. Seems like you might want to consider a chihuahua.

If you want to give a high maintenance, sooky beyond your wildest expectations, golden retriever with selective hearing a try...Sophie is terribly unloyal and loves to be "borrowed".

However, she may disembowel Henry if given the chance, and stinky footwear are frequent casualties.

Awwww! Mr Happy is a party pooper.... However, I have a suspicion that Henry may try to climb the fence at the palace and upset the Queen. I say yay to a dog! I'd lend you my little Miss however; she like Sophie has selective hearing verging on blatantly ignoring anything that is not her idea.
Lately I have had a suspicion she is planning some mischief behind my back…
