Mommy's present to herself.

Time has passed. I haven't blogged. Let's get over it and move on.

Here's what's new:
- The Mogrunt started daycare in January.
- Mr. Happy stared a full time day job in December.
- I've been knitting, but have few pictures.
- Life is busy.

The pillow you see above was inspired by the fact that:
a. We were still using the pillows that came with our couches when we bought them (ew yuck)
b. The Mogrunt loves birds. A bird is a "Tee!" in Mogrunt-speak
c. Turns out I had forgotten how much I enjoy embroidery.
d. I had already made the little bird for a special little girl's birthday present:

I also made two bigger pillows for our couches.

...with fabric left over from the curtains I made years ago.
I've got plans afoot to make another pillow with an owl on it. The Mogrunt is a huge fan of owls right now. We'll see if I ever get that done in the little bits of time I get to myself. Sigh.
